- 「の」を使った名詞化 + に反して：みんなの予想に反して
※ 「に反して」用于连接后句，「に反する/に反した」用于修饰名词。

- Nominalized phrase with の + に反して: みんなの予想に反して
※ 「に反して」 connects to a following clause; 「に反する/に反した」 modifies a noun.
含义Meaning
"与……相反""违反……"，表示结果与预想、期待、规则等相反。书面语较多，强调落差感。
"Contrary to…" or "against…" — indicates that the result is the opposite of what was expected, hoped for, or stipulated. Somewhat formal; emphasizes the gap between expectation and reality.

※ 注意区分「一方だ」（一直……）和「一方（で）」（另一方面）。

※ Distinguish 「一方だ」 (keeps on…) from 「一方（で）」 (on the other hand…).
含义Meaning
"一方面……另一方面……"，用于对比同一事物的两个不同侧面，或对比两种情况。书面语较多。
"On the one hand… on the other hand…" — contrasts two different aspects of the same subject, or contrasts two situations. More common in written language.

"On the flip side…" — describes both a positive and negative aspect of the same subject, emphasizing the contradictory side. Typically follows a good→bad pattern.

含义Meaning
"随着A变化，B也随之变化"，表示两个事物同步变化。前后都必须是变化的内容。
"As A changes, B changes accordingly" — two things change in tandem. Both the preceding and following clauses must describe change.
